David joined Media Pro in 2008, bringing his deep knowledge of the motorsports industry to the company’s new PR relationship with General Racing, Ltd. After working on the press team assigned that year to promote General Racing’s Rolex Monterey Historic Automobile Races, David shifted effortlessly to another new project for Media Pro, the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona. Expanding on those two events, the Media Pro portfolio now also includes the Sonoma Historic Motorsports Festival, the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, and the U.S. stops for the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup.

His passion for motorsports began during his teenage years when he bought his first sports car, an MGA, and drove it endlessly along the country roads of New England. His racing heroes were Jim Clark, Graham Hill, Dan Gurney and all the Formula 1 drivers of the day. When he attended his first race, the U.S. Grand Prix (USGP) at Watkins Glen on October 7, 1973, he was especially impressed with the beautiful Embassy Shadow driven by Graham Hill, and in a moment of enthusiasm he told a friend, "I will race cars one day, and when I do, I want to race a car just like the Embassy Shadow.” After several years racing in SCCA, where he won two regional Formula Ford championships and a Formula Atlantic Championship, he signed the bill of sale for that very car exactly 20 years to the day after first setting eyes on it. He restored the car and raced it in vintage race events for 15 years until he sold it in 2008.

These days David races a Porsche 911 in Vintage Motorsports events. Since 2003 he has written about motorsports for two lifestyle magazines, Forum and Accent., He is a member of the International Motor Press Association as well as other motorsports related organizations.

David's business career in the men’s fashion industry included management positions with the largest international menswear companies as well as the founding of his own businesses. He established himself as one of the industry’s leading innovators as his company grew and his products were shipped to every major store in the country.
